So i don't know if you heard but....

I MADE THE BYU FOLK DANCE TEAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!


i'm pretty freaking excited if you couldn't tell.... ;)


So, here's the whole story. haha.. I tried out on Wednesday night. Tryouts started at 6:30 and I didn't get home till like.. 10:30. I was one of the last girls to get called back during the generic try outs. Then we went and learned some hard dances, and finally.. after like 2-3 hours of dancing, they finally finished announcing all the teams. I'm on one of the lowest teams, but it's still WAY EXCITING!!!! I'm going to be in the homecoming parade and in Christmas Around the World. We get to wear costumes for the second one!! :D Plus my teacher/coach said that we might be getting to do an INDIAN DANCE for the Christmas concert which would be BEYOND EXCITING!!! indian is probably one of my favorite styles :) So.. that's what happened to me this week :)

    Hooray.....good for you! You'll have so much fun. Need any clogging tips????? :)

    YES!!!! I'm not taking it right now, but you should definitely teach me when you move out to Colorado :) That way I can skip at least the 100 level class ;) If i want to get on the touring team, I have to take the 300 level of clogging.. so any help would be greatly appreciated :)
