Club Can't Handle Us...

I'm Gangsta. I mean it's totally obvious. I'm a white girl from a small town in Colorado.. and I GOT SWAGGER! or SWAGGA as i like to call it. How is it not obvious that i am clearly a BIG BLACK RAPPER/GANGSTA on the inside. I'm basically an Uh-Oh Oreo. Legit. But if you don't believe me... check out these pictures.. Club Can't Handle ME!

Rainy Day..

So I got some epic wellies. (aka rainboots. Obviously, I called my friend, we went on a walk, and took some EPIC pictures..  Rachael is my bestie.. and we had fun together. And got some epic bestie shots, so all is well. I LOVE rain. and umbrellas. and wellies. and RACHAEL!!!

Camping and Caving

So a few weeks ago i had the pleasure of going on a very epic camping trip with my Singles ward down near Glenwood Springs. It was most excellent and fun!! We only stayed one night, but we went hiking and caving!! We also had cameras.. so we took a bajillion and a half pictures.

This little stream looked like a total fairy village. Although it didn't smell like one. Rotting egg smell... EW!

Inside the cave!!!! we used our own flashlights, there was a rope in some places, but otherwise, it was just us exploring the cave. It was LEGIT.

Sweet Staches

My other new obsession- and probably more healthy

So at least my other new obsession is at least worthwhile.. it's... drumroll please... Editing pictures using photoshop!!!! :) YAY!!!!! i checked out a book from the library, and I've been obsessed with doing all the pictures... Frankly everyone's probably starting to get sick of it.. but I LOVE IT!!!!!!! You'll have to check out this pictures that i did!!!! I think they look super good... :)

 So Shannon thinks that my hair looks really cute this short... what do y'all think? Should i cut my hair super short???

So idk if you care, but for the photos of Camille and I, I whitened our teeth, softened the skin, increased the vibrancy,
changed the skin tone-for the better which increased the warmth, and some other blemishy detaily stuff... but those
were the important ones :)

He's learning to be a creeper at an early age... and a colorful one at that!!!! bwahahaha

I love the epicness of the colors..
 I mean, I don't think my shirt or my jeans are actually that color in real life hahaha

Much Belated Mother's Day Post

So I know I haven't been the best about posting, but my goal is to start doing better.. YAY!!!!! I've been trying post my mother's day post for awhile.. but I've been having problems getting all the pictures to load... so it basically hasn't happened. I'm not quite giving up... I'm just not gonna upload the pictures to blogger since it's hating on me...Except that I just got it to work. I just won't put as many in this Mother's Day Post as I will in my next edited post.. :)

So for Mother's Day I decided to go all out and... Steal my mother's camera!!! WOOOT!!! hahaha. jk. but seriously. I did steal her camera :) But it was for a good cause, because it's what I did with that camera that counts :) I took pictures of all of us kids, got them edited, printed them out, and framed them. We didn't quite finish because Trevor decided he wanted to get his braces off before we took his pictures. Soo.. the group pictures/picture and Trevor's aren't done yet. But we will get around to them eventually :) So here's the ones that we picked out to use for the frames. and then are the ones that we loved, and decided that my Mom could get them printed out for herself :) But there are some awesome ones.. :) This is gonna be a pretty picture heavy post. So I hope you enjoy!

Me and my obsession

So lately I've gotten addicted to wedding and photography blogs. Which is fun, but I'm nowhere near a position where I would be planning for a wedding. But hey, if I figure out what I like now, then when i get engaged, it'll be super easy! Right? Right? -crickets chirping- ok.. So it won't be easy. Especially since I like... everything!!! hahaha. jk. I know more about what i don't like than what I do, but I'll cross that bridge when i get to it.. (: It's great fun, and I'm learning a lot. Plus, it's cool to see what all these different people are doing for their weddings. And then it makes me wish that I was engaged.. just so I could get to do all of this too.

Part of what brought this on is I have 5 friends who have or are getting married this summer. One friend got married in May, and then I have two in July and two in August. The best part about this? 2 of them are younger than me, and 4 of the girls are either my age or close to it. It's kinda crazy that all these girls from my stake are getting married - ok it's just 2, but still- because I feel like we're all too young to get married..

Anyways, if you want to check out some super cute/pretty/romantic unrealistically expensive(at least in my opinion) weddings check them out in my blog list.. I like Style Me Pretty because it tells the story. Whitebox isn't just weddings and i LOVE their photography. The others are just fun to check out, and cute to look at...

So now you know what I've been wasting my free time on... lol :)

Be prepared..

For some SERIOUS yummyness and and then LEGIT grossness. I'll try to space the pictures out so you can enjoy the first part before running to the bathroom.. ok it shouldn't be that bad. But now that I've prepared you for all that... Here's the nummy lasagna that Emily and I made!!! I used Grandma Silk's recipe, the one with the green onions and we ate lasagna breakfast, lunch, and dinner until it was all done. At the end of the semester, both of them wanted copies of the recipe. Idk if it was the 1/2 pound of cheese i swear we put in it or what but it was AMAZING!!!!! Thank you Grandma!! :)

MMM... Doesn't that just make you want to go make some LASAGNA?? Garfield knows what's best lol...

So now for the second part of the post. I know you want to go make some Lasagna, but idk about that after these next few pictures... Be warned!!! Hahaha. So one night, my roommates and I were playing some games in our living room with some good friends. We were having a little party when all of a sudden we heard a knock at the door, assuming it was someone we knew, we yelled for them to come in. No one came in.. so I jumped up to answer the door. Instead of a friendly face, I was confronted with this image....

Yes.. that IS a dead fish covered in nasty hot sauce on our doorstep. We eventually figured out that it was a kid in my ward... But this was super nasty stuff. But since we're in college, we laughed and thought it was pretty hilarious if a bit freaky.. I mean check out this close-up:

Idk if the best part about this prank was the hot stuff they splattered everywhere.. or the KNIFE sticking out of the middle of the fish.. hahaha.

So that isn't where the story ends.. I know you thought it was over. Later that night, probably 5 minutes after all of our friends left, we heard a thump on our window. Now we live on the 2nd floor, so thumps on our window aren't exactly normal. We opened our blinds to see what hit our window, when a HEAD popped up, hit the window and fell back down. It was a mannikin's head, but it still freaked us out. My biggest regret is not chasing them down and figuring out who did it. Since our apartment spotlight for ward prayer was the next day, we decided to immortalize our experience in song.. So here' s the song we wrote, it's to the tune of Under the Bridge by Red Hot Chili Peppers.
