HAIRCUT!!!!!!!!

So i've been needing a haircut for a really long time, and i finally went and got one today, and i TOTALLY COMPLETELY LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!! I didn't actually get a ton of length taken off, but i got like a zillion layers put in, and it looks totally awesome! i've been needing a change, and my hair just has so much movement now, its LOVELY. I went to Giani International, which has Paul Mitchell peeps working there, so it was wonderful.. I have also reaffirmed the fact that my hair is RIDICULOUSLY thick. I mean when your hair stylist comments on it 3 times at least, you know its the truth. And she said, wow, this is enough hair for like 8 people when we were done, hahaha. i also got my eyebrows threaded. So now I don't have big bushy eyebrows anymore. So you all probably know how much of a baby I can be when it comes to pain, but I made it through threading really well! It hurts so much less than waxing, and overall less than plucking. I only kinda teared up once. Which is REALLY good for me :) So, here comes the part you really want to see, instead of all my talking- PICTURES! So i took them on my webcam, therefore not very good quality, but it works you know? - yah and i know its gonna be out of order, but i'll do my birthday post soon :)

Wow..

So i've been having a grr start to the new semester. I like half of my classes and the other three I'm really struggling to either stay awake in, stay interested, or stay unbored in. On top of that my computer has been having difficulties ever since I got back from Winter break, as has my blog, which is one of the reasons i haven't posted. It's kinda annoying to read anything through the lack of a solid background lol, But I'm going to post this anyways, and hopefully everything will be fixed soon. Thankfully, my other classes are completely making up for how much my classes aren't going the way I want them to, as is the bacon in the fridge, and the Jamba Juice runs with Nathan.. don't worry Mom, it's not TOO often. I'm not that stupid.. lol.

Another blessing in my life has been the fact that i have absolutely no classes on Friday, something I'm very grateful for. It means I have the time to go to the temple, which is my goal for this semester- going to the temple every week. I don't really have any excuse not to. I have a feeling I'm going to need it.

The other thing is that my classes that I like are my religion classes and dance classes, understandable right? Well, if you knew about my BOM class last semester, it's a wonderful thing that I like my religion classes. I'm taking International Church History and the second half of the BOM from the most wonderful professors. I've never been so excited to learn about the scriptures and the gospel. Brother Marsh, my BOM professor reminds me a bit of John Bytheway, and especially Brad Wilcox. He has the perfect mixture of humor, interesting facts about the gospel and life, and spiritual messages. He has such a wealth of wonderful stories that help me feel the Spirit every class period, something that didn't really happen last semester. My church history class has also made me more excited to l
earn about my family history than I ever have before, or at least my Great-grandma Peterson.

My dance classes are really what i look forward to every week tho. I'm taking world dance and irish dance. I LOVE THEM!!!! I'm learning so much an
d they're WAY fun. :) I've already learned like 5 to 6 dances in my World Dance class, and I feel like a legitimate irish dancer, that's how amazing that class is lol. It's so amazing, and makes everything worth it. Well, that's my January update, and just fyi, the photos aren't mine, but I wish it was.

Astronomy Project

This is the project i made for my astronomy class, I was having trouble getting it to work anywhere for my teacher, so I uploaded it to blogger. As far as I know she was able to see it somewhere else, but I didn't waste all the time I spent uploading this on here. So I decided to post it so you could all see it and enjoy it lol.

November happenins

So i figured I should probably update, since I have pictures and haen't updated for a month.. Sorry!! Well since Halloween I've done a ton of stuff, like THANKSGIVING!!! woot!! we had like a 3 day break and I got to see family. It was beautiful and the food was most delicious. I also went to the Holy War game of BYU v. Utah. and WE WON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I got my dad an extra ticket for Christmas and it was a pretty awesome game for us to go to. BYU beat Utah and it was a BEAUTIFUL thing. Everyone stormed the field, and while we didn't go down right away- didn't want to get crushed or die or anything- we did go on the field after the mania had died down a little bit. So that was a lot of fun. We also FINALLY got SNOW!!!!!!! I love it. It's still pretty, and so I'm still enjoying it. Well I have one more week, a grammar test, a paper and four finals, and then I'M DONE WITH CLASSES!!!!!!! and will be flying home. I can't wait!! Oh, I also baked banana bread this month and it turned out QUITE delicious. My roommate has a knack for finding super delish recipes.

The players in their throwback uniforms. Right next to us

Snow!!!

Dad and I on the field after the game! It was SOOOO cold.

Final Score. BYU - 26 Utah 23. WIN!
I think this was right before they scored in front of us. or almost scored. one of the two

Super nummy banana bread. looks quite delicious no?

Halloween

So idk how this happened, but i don't actually have any pictures of me legitimately in my halloween costume :*( I do have some that I took the night before though in the most exciting part of my costume.. the TUTU!!!! :) but for my actual costume i went as an 80s ballerina, so imagine that tutu with a tie-die shirt, side ponytail, sparkly headband, bright blue running shorts, purple leggings, and fishy converse. Basically it was the awesomest costume ever lol. So the night before Halloween i went to a stake dance and danced with a guy dressed as CHARIZARD!!! so exciting. lol Then on Halloween i handed out candy to little kids, went to Chipotle to get a free burrito, then went to a haunted house, went to another dance, and then watched a really scary movie- The Haunting in Connecticut. My recommendation? DON'T WATCH IT!!!! It's SCARY!!!! :P So i realized that i didn't take a picture of my epic pumpkin. But don't worry it was epic. We carved it to look like a cow, but no one thought it actually looked like a cow... so we painted it, and it was AWESOME! Ok. Then i started looking through my pictures and forgot to say that during the week I also decorated cookies at a building activity. I also went to the volleyball game on Thursday and Cosmo was dressed up as DARTH VADER!!!!!! hahaha and spiderman but i didn't get a picture of that.. :P
